Six years ago, I was struggling financially and it didn’t seem to matter how hard I worked. I continued to watch other people having success, while my challenges continued.
I learned that a lot of my issues centered around myself. I was actually sabotaging my successes and getting in my own way.
I began looking for ways to improve my situation. This opened me up to discovering an amazing tool. At this time, a dear friend shared EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) with me and showed me how it related to creating financial abundance. I was open to trying something new, but I do have to admit I was a little skeptical.
To my surprise, when I practiced EFT tapping and set my intentions for prosperity with gratitude, I’d have amazing life affirming experiences. The tapping somehow made me feel at peace and unblocked.
For those of you unfamiliar, it starts with acknowledging the problematic emotion you are feeling (in my case frustration with my financial experience), stating an affirmation that relates to the issue.
Here’s an example of what I use: ‘I am experiencing financial abundance, I am in alignment with prosperity, I attract great wealth into my life and my business, I attract positive uplifting customers to me that increase my financial worth, I love and attract large amounts of money, I am always in the right place at the right time to have the best and most prosperous experiences.’
I do three to four rounds of tapping – pinpointing specific areas on my body.
As I would perform this daily practice, I could feel the energy shifting in my body, my attitude becoming more confident and positive, and I learned it was this shift from within me that directly affected what I was creating in my life.
If I forgot to tap or thought I was feeling good enough some days, I might revert back to having less than prosperous experiences.
Then I’d stop what I was doing, take five minutes, affirm and tap, and my experience would shift again. I began sharing this with others including my good friend whose testimony was powerful – proof that I wasn’t the only one experiencing the benefits of tapping.
I have been familiar with EFT for several years but was always a little skeptical of the effectiveness until I practiced with Xen. I could be in a complete anxiety attack and after a quick tapping session with Xen, I am calm and grounded.
Last February, I participated in the 7th Annual Tapping World Summit. This event educated me on how EFT is now widely being used in osteopathic medicine, naturopathic medicine, psychotherapy, psychiatry, as well as by life coaches and mentors.
Documented successes have been reported for people dealing with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, fear, grieving, weight loss, self-love, issues with assertiveness and many others.
